Da Derrty Versions: The Reinvention

THIS IS HOT!

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (10/10)
this boy is great. first of all, let me tell you about the st. lunatics. the tics are incredibly creative and versatile, and every song they come out with is good. even with bangin, fun songs, i consider them true artists who concentrate on the lighter side of hip hop. now this album is definately worth buying, even though i have to admit that a few of the tracks should have been better.

Country Grammer- the same song, only tighter with E-40 lacin the track

Iz U- when i first heard this, i didn't like it much because its weird. but after i listened to it a second time, i realized how cool it is. its a face paced song that is good to dance to.

E.I- this song is sure to get you hype anytime of the day. the original E.I. was already a classic, so could imagine what the remix would be like, especially with a beat by david banner. this is the best song on the album.

Ride with me- this is another one i had to get used to, but when you get into it, you realize that its just nelly's versatility. they took ride with me and put it over one of john mayer's singles(i cant think of the name of it..) to make a "cute" sort of collabo..

Batter up- mannnn! just like the E.I. remix, batter up was already a tight joint, and the remix is even hotter. with most of the derrty ENT crew, this is a great track that you can really get down to.

If- this is a track from the neptunes last cd "the clones". its a really good song, although it is similar to nelly's collabo with n'sync on "girlfriend"

Hot in herre- i dont know, im not too hot on this one, the beat is kinda weird, but its still cool

Dilemma- this is hot. the first dilemma was good, and this one puts a new spin on it with a really chill beat.

Kingshighway- this is one of his new songs, that is really off the hook. its a laid back song that is best when listened to kickin it in the car

Grovin tonight-this is from the lunatics Free City album. its a smooth song with brian mcknight that is a good pre-party song.

Air force ones- this has a weird laid back sorta beat, its not as good as the original but its still cool.

Work it- this one is pretty good, but its basically a slower version of the first one, with a slightly different beat

#1- i havent listened to this track very much, but its still pretty good, although the guitar gets annoying after a while.

Pimp juice- this is a really good song, and it has a perfect spot on the album. its a smooth, chilled, jazzy track with ron isley

E.I (The tipdrill remix)- the same as the first E.I. remix, only this one has more verses and more tip drill on it. its hot!
