I'm a huge music fan, mostly punk, but I've never been a big fan of rap. I have always respected fast, fun beats and the ability to rap quick and clever, especially if it's silly instead of always talking about hard times like how Ludacris and Outkast can do it so well. And, in regards to this cd, I think it is admirable. It's not the best music I've ever heard, not even the best rap, but its definitely good. I absolutely hated Hot In Here and Dilemma's original versions, but almost love them now. Other reviewers said things about them all just being the same beats just a little different, but I definitely don't hear that. It's just my opinion but I think the beats are fun, most of the times faster and crazier then the originals. Also, being a guitarist gives me respect for this album. Its the first rap album I've ever heard truly include an alternative song, without trying to make it hip hop alternative with Ride With Me. I liked the original but I really like that someone wasn't afraid to do this. Overall, I recommend this cd to party fans, rap fans, and open minded music fans that enjoy a good pop rap song, cause ultimately, that's what this cd has.
