Nelly knew what he was doing when he took on this project. It is like no other remix album I have ever heard. Compared to 'J to tha L-O! The Remixes ''P Diddy & Bad Boy Records Present: We Invented the Remix ''Irv Gotti Presents the Remixes''So So Def: Definition of a Remix ' this album is amazing. In fact, if you took all those albums together and compared them to this it would still be far superior to them.
In addition to the remixes, this CD also includes a few new songs and an unreleased track or two.
1. Intro - An Intro Enough Said
2. Country Grammar* - Awesome. E-40 Is Amazing On This.
3. Iz U - New Single. It's OK
4. E.I. - I like this, but the other remix is better. David Banner Produced.
5. Ride Wit Me - Very different & original.
6. Batter Up* - Awesome. Features Pretty Much Everybody From Derrty Entertainment.
7. If - I like this a lot.
8. Hot In Herre - I enjoyed this even more than the original.
9. Dilemma - Not much different. Ali's verse is awesome.
10. King's Highway - Kind of a new song. Pretty good.
11. Groovin' Tonight - I like this song. City Spud has a great verse.
12. Air Force Ones* - My Favortie track. How could you go wrong with David Banner & 8Ball? Amazing Production.
13. Work It - Good. Justin Timberlake Is OK.
14. #1* - Nice To See Postaboy. Clipse is good too.
15. Pimp Juice - OK. Nothing special. It's cool that he got Ronald Isley though.
16. E.I. (The Tipdrill Remix)* - I like this better than the otehr one. The St. Lunatics are awesome here.
* - My Favorites
What does this CD have that other remix albums don't? Good tracks & great production. Don't get me wrong, We Invented The Remix had god stuff, but some of it was just overplayed and not good. This is a classic remix albums and others need to take note of how it's done. With production from Jason "Jay-E" Epperson, David Banner, & Neptunes you can't go wrong.Nelly & the 'Tics are on the come up! Look at Murphy Lee is on the rise!
Expect Great Things From David Banner! Everyone Take Notice, He Will Be Great! His First Two Albums (Mississippi: The Album & Mississippi: The Screwed & Chopped Album) Were Awesome. MTA2: Baptized In Dirty Water Is Coming Soon! (December 23rd - Ya'll Better Look Out! I Advise You Not To Drop Anything That Week. Better Yet, Don't Drop Anything A Week Before Or After!)
