Nelly debuted with "Country Grammar" and a hat trick of multi-platinum hits. He was a shoe-in for the Rap game. It seemed any track this Rapper laid his hand on was good for all types of listeners. Unfortunatley, the follow up album has absolutley none of the greatness the first CD possesed. The debut single "Hot In Herre" (Produced by The Neptunes) hooked on fast, and created the new "Take your clothes off" trend in all the clubs. The lyrics were trash, nothing valuble in any of them. Then the second single "Dilemma" recited the story of Nelly stealing another mans woman. Can you say overdone? Kelly Rowland proves she can sing without Beyonce, but the song is ruined by Nelly's annoying crooning. The only single that is respectable is "Air Force Ones" - the super-original ode to shoes, featuring the St. Lunatics. This song had the best beat, best lyrics and coined the saying "I need two perres" - With so many ups and down on this CD, it's a wonder he sold any at all. Hopefully he'll think about what he's doing for his thrid release. Verdict: Buy it bootlegged, it's five bucks that way and still has a few pleasers. STEP UP YOUR GAME JACKI FROST!
