I am a huge music lover & a fan of different musical genres including pop, rock, classic rock, R&B, dance-club, easy listening, contemporary country, & some hip-hop. If I had to choose my favorite hip hop artist it would definitely be hands down Nelly. I love his sound & after hearing both of his singles just recently released "My Place" & "Tilt Ya Head Back" a duet with Christina A.(a huge fan of) & after seeing them perform the song together on the MTV Video awards I was really looking forward to his new album/s. My favorite is SUIT, which is more r&b based w/ groovy jams. I love all the songs on SUIT. SWEAT is more rap based, which is just ok. I like a few songs from the SWEAT CD, like of course his duet w/ Christina. I have alot of respect for Nelly as a positive hip-hop/r&b/rap artist rather than the usual ghetto rap to sell albums. I would also like to see him release an R&B CD....he has a good voice. In his SUIT album "N Dey Say" utilizes samples of "True" from the 80's hit single. My favorite though is "Over and Over" a duet with Tim McGraw. This is such a unique & mesmerizing song. Who would have thought that a hip-hop artist could colab with a country artist. Real cool song & should be a single. I also think they should perform this song together at the AMA's. It would be so cool. He also does colabs with a variety of different artists, such as Anthony Hamilton, Ron Isley, Snoop Dog.....really cool album. Nelly's sultry SUIT is off the hook & so is his colab w/ Christina. Good Job Nelly.
