Having checked out both new Nelly albums I have to say I prefer "Suit" (2004). Nelly and Pharell start the album off on a decent note with the upbeat "Play It Off". By now most people have heard the lead single "My Place", Nelly and Jaheim deliver a smooth love track which vibes well. One of the reasons Nelly gets a lot of the love from the ladies is he admires them like on "Paradise" and "She Don't Know My Name" feat. Snoop and Ron Isley. A real standout for me is "N Dey Say", sampling a well known track (Spandau Ballet's "True") Nelly delivers some relevant music, talking about the real struggles people live through and delivering some memorable lyrics about life. I have noticed some people either love or hate "Over and Over" feat. Tim Mcgraw, I am with the first group this soulful track reminds me of lost love. Anthony Hamilton is a talented R & B singer, he helped Jada with "Why" and does the same with Nelly delivering an outstanding chorus on "Nobody Knows" another standout track. Nelly saves the last track for his children, on the sentimental "I Die For You" Nelly recalls their births and shows his love. Well chosen beats, collabrations and sampling benefit this album. Of the two albums this is the lighter one, Nelly delivers a positive upbeat album, which can be enjoyed by people who listen to a wide variety of music genres.
