This is without a doubt the best New Edition album and one of the best R&B albums ever made. Lead singer, Ralph Tresvant, was in top form. The "Edition" of Johnny Gill was important in making this album successful. Producers, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis also were in their prime, creating such classics as "If It Isn't Love" , "Can You Stand the Rain", and the title cut. "Crucial" and "I'm Coming Home" will also have you satisfied. This, along with the first Guy album, was highly influential and set the standard for R&B albums to come. If you don't have this in your collection you're not a true soul music fan!
