NE at their finest!

New Edition is the hip hop generation's version of the Temptations; they have clearly the most influence over singing groups of reecnt memory; from 112 and Boyz II Men(from a New Edition song their name was taken) to Caucasian pop groups such as NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys. From 1983 to 1993, their was no group hotter, with their group and solo careers. Now we have Hits, which to my count, is the 63rd New Edition compliation album. It has most of what NE fans expect, except the obvious; no tracks from their Candy Girl album, which is blasphemous(they probably couldn't licence the songs, which explains the abundance of songs from their Heartbreak album.) If you want a true recounting of this group's staying power, buy New Edition: All The Number Ones, which has their top hits from theor group and solo years.
