For those of you metal fans who are new to Nightwish, you have no idea how amazing this band is. First of all, the vocals by Tarja are the BEST female vocals out there in my opinion, not to mention she is beautiful....where was I going with this?? Nightwish are one of my favorite symphonic metal bands. Ok, now, onto the music....

Century Child is Nightwish's fouth studio release. Nightwish always start stong, and the song, Bless the Child, continues their strength of great openers for albums. The second track, End of all Hope, is one of the most operatic songs on the album. The song, Ever Dream is quite possibly the most beautiful song on here, along with Ocean Soul. The album continues to rock with songs like Slaying the Dreamer, the ominous, Phantom of the Opera, and the magnificant closer, Beauty of the Beast.

Nightwish scores big with this album, but the reason it earned 4/5 stars is because this album, in my opinion, is not as good as Oceanborn or Wishmaster. But, this album is amazing!! Plus, I was privileged to see Nightwish live on their 'Once' Tour! It was phenominal!! Please suppport this band, as they are another great band to come out of Finland.
