This is such a great album, I just dont know where to start. Once Nirvana released 'Nevermind' it was obvious that they had a promising career ahead of them. But who would have thought that they would come out with such a masterpiece that it had to make into the top five albums of all time? Nobody, and even though this spelled the unfortunate and abrupt end to Kurt Cobain, it also delivered some of his and the bands best work ever.
All the songs here are great, nothing gets below a B+, and for a twelve song album being rated by a veteran music fan who likes both Nirvana and Pearl Jam, thats pretty good. The best songs are 'Heart-shaped Box', 'Rape Me' and 'All Apologies', which all recieve A+'s. Every song, while they all maintain the dirty and grungy mood, are all different and each one has an indifferent quality that almost no album comes close to matching.

With eight out of twekve A+ songs, its safe to say that this will definitely find a place in your CD collection, unless your one of those damned teenyboppers who really has no point of existence. This is for any rock fan who is willing to give this band a chance to prove their worth, not for the arrogant retards (AFI k. James) who has never heard the album and already assumes it sucks because of 'Nevermind'.
Just buy it, I'm done.
