This mega-package of Nirvana rarities and home movies deftly captures why this Washington state band was THE band of a generation. With punk-pop sensibilities invoking the Beatles, they forever changed the face of rock.

None of the come lately alternative bands now trying to be signed to big labels would recieve a second glance if Kurt Cobain had not followed through on his dream to have a band.

Previously released musical material has a different sound throughout this package---we get to hear the band experimenting with now-classic tunes. While it might annoy some people, I was impressed by the various nuances throughout my favirote songs. Nirvana after all is not a studio band.

The price is steep for the casual Nirvana fan (yes, they do exist!) but long-time fans need to have this package. We get three CD's and a bonus DVD of the band's performances/personal home movies.
