Apparently, none of the critics who have reviewed With the Lights Out haven't listened to the entire boxset. And why would they? They have brunch dates to keep, subpar bands to schmooze and kiss up to, and record companies to please. If any critic actually listened to/viewed the material from With the Lights Out, and told their readers about the plethora of problems with these disks, nobody would buy the boxset, and Geffen would lose a lot of money and retaliate against the magazine that gave the realistic reviews. But since this is supposed to be a free country, I'll tell you about the errors I know of since Rolling Stone won't. Any amount of disc errors from a major label release is inexcusable, and it boggles my mind that nobody spotted the many errors (problems) with several songs and DVD material on With the Lights Out. There are disk errors on "Lithium", "Verse Chorus Verse", "Jesus Don't Want Me for a Sun Beam", and the Sub Par Pop music video of "In Bloom". KTS unofficially releases far superior material than this (supposedly) legitimate record label which charges fifty-nine dollars for With the Lights Out. Think before you buy this boxset, because there are other means of acquiring these songs (for free). Like trading some blank CD-Rs. All in all, With the Lights Out is a gyp.
