Ok I will admit that this cd is not as deep as the previous ones. However, this does not make the cd bad. No Doubt took a fun approach on this album and I see nothing wrong with that. Especially coming from the dark, "Return To Saturn" (which is excellent in its own right). I think Gwen is a great songwriter (she is MUCH better than Shania Twain) and I respect the fact that she reveals her life in her songwriting. I also respect artists that try to do different things, even if it means losing some of their fans.

My favorite songs are the Prince-inspired "Waiting Room" and the reggage "Underneath It All". I also found "Running" an interesting ballad, pretty and different. And I even like the often hated "In My Head", even though it took a couple of listenings before I got it.This cd is "Hella Good" and I can't wait for Gwen's solo project. I recommend this cd for any party!
