Semi - sweet No Doubt

Although I love this CD, this is my least favorite No Doubt album. The singles that they've released from it seem to have that familiar ska/reggae ring to it. In fact, it seems more alive on this album than the others. However, I think that this album was a "distraction" in some ways. Songs like Hella Good, Underneath It All, Detective, and a couple others are quite awesome. Yet, some of the tracks are quite "unsteady." I may like them as songs in themselves, but not necessarily as No Doubt songs. It is still a must-have for a fan. The tracks are not completely blanketed under No Doubt's partially experimental sound. I think that you'll enjoy it.
