The Singles is the best way to enjoy No Doubt. A solid collection of hits (Don't Speak, Just A Girl, Underneath It All, Sunday Morning) along with some interesting releases that may have been overlooked (Simple Kind of Life, Excuse Me Mister, Trapped in A Box) and a brand new track, an excellent cover of Talk Talk's song "It's My Life".

While I find No Doubt's studio albums somewhat spotty and underwhelming, this collection never lets up.
And it's one of the most eclectic hits packages I've ever heard. From the ska of "Spiderwebs" to the new wave of "Just A Girl" to the power ballad "Don't Speak" to the jangle pop of "Simple Kind Of Life" to the dance beats of "Hella Good" and, my favorite, the hard rocking "Ex-Girlfriend". Everything under the new wave sun is covered and each one of these tracks holds its own amongst the others.

This is an obvious starting point for a listener interested in No Doubt. And older fans may find this package a great way to get re-aquainted with past songs.
