One of the most memorable and enduring 90s band

This band hasn't really missed a beat since busting into pop culture with the massive Tragic Kingdom album in the mid 90s. When other bands and musicians belabored in creating music through pain, this feel good party ready band came, rocking MTV in all its SKA glory. The album opens with Just a Girl, a classic rock anthem for men and women. It's followed by the equally impressive remake of It's My Life. Gwen easily makes this Talk talk tune her own. Even if you have all the No Doubt albums, buy this album for this track. The album has all the trappings of a classic greatest hits album, with Spiderwebs, Don't Speak, Hey Baby, Hella Good, and Underneath It all. The group's second album, Return to Saturn, was perhaps their weakest moment commercially. Radio never warmed up to Ex Girlfriend, Simple Kind of Life, and Bathwater. Nevertheless, No Doubt is one of the most memorable and enduring 90s band, aware and in control of its image and music.
