When you are searching for music to listen to, you look for something that you like...that's different. You don't want something like all the rest. This album by No Doubt is surely something different from the usual.

Personally, I like songs where it sounds like the artist really "feels" what they are singing about. Gwen Stefani puts a lot of emotion into her songs. In the song "Don't Speak," you can hear the pain she is singing of.

Key songs on the album are "Spiderwebs," "Just a Girl," "Don't Speak," and "Tragic Kingdom."
"Spiderwebs" is similar in subject to the more recent, "Bugaboo" by Destiny's Child. It is about a girl who can't shake off a guy. Unlike the song by Destiny's Child, the girl is more shy and can't stand up to the guy. As they say: "I don't have the courage inside me to tell you please let me be."

"Just a Girl" is one that definatly stands out. It tells of where women stand in society..just because they are girls. No Doubt adds a lot of humor to it to create an unforgettable single. Quotes from the song that stand out are: "I'm just a girl all pretty and petite, so don't let me have any rights. Oh, I've had it up to here!" "I'm just a girl, I'd rather not be...guess I'm some kinda freak." "I'm just a girl in the world..that's all that you'll let me be!" "I'm just a girl, my apologies, I'm just a girl, Lucky me!"

This CD is definatly a must-have!
