A personal favorite

Aside from one or two songs, this upbeat CD is sensationally original, yet brilliantly geniuine. Gwen Stefani's vocal performances absolutely peak in this album with songs such as "Just a Girl" and "Let's End it On This". Tony Kanal, the group's bassist, has a unique flair for the bass, almost bringing it into a whole separate dimension.

The theme that mainly runs throughout the album is the somewhat famous breakup between Gwen and Tony, from Gwen's heartbroken standpoint. The sorrowful breakup almost spells itself out in the album. However, despite the painful theme, the album maintains an upbeat, rhythmic flow throughout most of the songs.

This album is definitely on my top ten list. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
