In short, this is rock.

Oasis didn't rise to fame because of their pretense and troubles in the press-- they are superstars because they have what rock and roll needs: beautiful emotionally-sung words set to beautiful guitars.

This and 'Morning Glory' are excellent. I am reminded of T. Rex, Big Star or early Kinks. They have drop-dead gorgeous throwaway lyrics and perfect little guitar tunes that won't leave your head.

If you consider yourself a rock fan, do yourself a favor and get a copy. It's bloody excellent.
