Finally the REAL follow up to Morning Glory

Be Here Now was OK. It just didn't have any real emotion or identity. The album went from complete psychotic dillusions with "My Big Mouth", to preachy ballads like "Don't Go Away". STOSOG is where Oasis should have taken the next step. The lyrics to the majoriy of the songs are tremendous. In "Where Did It All Go Wrong", Noel Gallagher ponders life with, "Do you know that feeling you get, when you feel you're older than time." As a whole this album feels more controlled and directional. There is an obvious concentration on drugs and the dealings with them. Noel decided to kick the habit and most of the album talks about how this affected his life. Except for "Put Yer Money Where Yer Mouth Is" and "I Can See A Liar", every song has it's moments in glory. My personal favorites are "Roll It Over", "Gas Panic", and "Where Did It All Go Wrong".
