Underrated
Review Score:

(8/10)
Let's put it this way: The fire of Oasis has passed out, at least for this recording. We never get to hear those sparks in Liam's voice, nor in Noel. And the other albums are better. A lot better. But that doesn't mean that it's a bad album.
OK to compair it to the others, but it shouldn't bring down some grading. I think if you compair the first three 5-star-albums to this this will have to jump off the train. But it is still a great album.
Not one song is bad. XXXXing in the bushes, one of the best intros I've ever heard. GO LET IT OUT and WHO FEELS LOVE are true Oasis-melodies and PUT YER MONEY WHERE YER MOUTH IS is a lot of fun, if not anything else.
LITTLE JAMES is the proof that from now on, let Noel do the lyrics. I mean "you live for your toys, even though they make noice".... I'll let that talk itself
STANDING ON THE SHOULDER OF GIANTS' real glory lies in songs 6-8. GAS PANIC is fabolous, a little B-side"ish" but great. WHERE DID IT ALL GO WRONG is the best track on the album and SUNDAY MORNING CALL took me a while to love but I love it today.
I CAN SEE A LIAR rocks, however it doesn't burn, but as I said it really rocks. ROLL IT OVER is a perfect final song. I don't think its fair to count out OASIS quite yet, just because their fourth album isn't a classic. I'm waiting for the next one, meanwhile I sit down with FAMILIAR TO MILLIONS.
