to me, a vast improvement on Be Here Now

coming from the land of the brits, Oasis are the band the media love to hate. the band reached their peak when they played Knebworth; how many other current bands get to play to a quarter of a million people over 2 nights ? the answer is none and there is no hint of the likes of Travis or Coldplay doing so. Anyway, the album is a mixture of good and bad. The first track hits you like a Lennox Lewis punch, with its booming drums, repetitve guitar riffs and inane granny remblings. If Mr gallagher can maker repeititve sound as good as this , then the man is a genius. go let it out starts out with an acoustic strum, soon sinking into the Oasis of old. who feels love is a hippy anthem, suitable for playing on the beach, while u tend to your sun tan.Gas panic is the best of the bunch but the demo sung by noel is better and so is the live version. the only blip is the lyrically embarassing little James. If the future of Oasis is Liam, then God help us all. other than that the album is above Be here now and should have charted higher than No.24 on your charts. ah...well. roll on the new album but check out the live album !
