I can't stand this, even if I listen with an open mind...

Now, I know that there are a lot of people who love The Offspring, and that's fine, but I just can't stand them. My sister lent me this album, and other than the first track, I hate it. All the songs sound the same, and this reeks of MTV-style Pop-Punk. I wouldn't like this album even if I were still in my MTV phase. Because all the songs sound the same, I can barely remember anything from this album, other than I hate it. The lyrics bore me, and are all about girls, or school, or some other over-used topic. The vocals are very whiny, and the riffs are dull at best. Plus, the fact that I hear this band all the time from the people around me doesn't help.

After listening to this album once, I decided to listen again with an open mind to see if I like it, and I hated it even more. I gave this back to my sister almost as soon as I got it.

Although, if there's something positive I have to say about this, it's that the first track (the opening one) is pretty funny. But, once track 2 starts, I hate it. So, I don't reccomend this album at all. If I ever need any Punk, I'll listen to the Dead Kennedys, or the Misfits, not this.
