All I can say is avoid this horrble mess AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!! This album is so bad its dissapointing to listen not only because the music is stinks but because I used to like Offspring. All the songs are bad. Offspring has gotten away from the guitar driven rocking ways into whatever mess you want to classify them as now. This album is pop meets rap meets reggae meets I don't know what and it is unlistenable.

Pretty Fly For A White Guy is the ultimate example of what is wrong with this album. The song is almost a rap song that is not funny and barely makes sense. It gets really annoying quickly (just like it did on radio) and only got as much airplay as it did because of the video and the nation's delayed reaction to the fact that Offspring had started to write crap! The saddest thing is that PFFAWG is actually one of the better songs on this album!! Here is a quick rundown:

1) Welcome - even in nine seconds it will drive you to pull you hair out!!

2) Have You Ever- heard crap as bad as this?? actually this is the best song on the album that reminds us what good Offspring was about.

3) Staring At The Sun - which is what I would rather do than listen to this.

4) Pretty Fly - already discussed this catastrophe.

5) The Kids Are Alright - probably beacuse they just wasted 14 bucks on garbage. The first 20 sec of this is stolen from TWO previous Offspring songs.

6) Feelings- the lowpoint of the album. Feelings ..whoa.... feelings....insane, angry, frustrated, outraged, and constapated are a few that come to mind.

7)She's Got Issues- a) especailly after listening to this
b) NO, the band is the one with issues

8) Walla Walla- this album sounds like a university fight song- fun in a drunken state at a football game otherwise Ill pass.

9) The End Of The Line- I think its the end of the line for Offspring...actually one of the few listenable songs.

10) No Brakes- A good guitar line ruined by vocal showboating

11)-13) By this time I have turned off the album every time so I couldn't even tell you how bad they are.

It seems that Offspring has just gotten lazy and sold out. I saw them in concert after this album came out when they played in Berkely with Lit. After making us wait like 40 mins they come out and play a 60 minutes set!! They were the headlining band and they couldn't even play for an hour!! Like I said they have just gotten lazy.

Bottom Line: I would rather have a rotting cadaver in my CD player than this.
