So Offspring sold out, so what?! that means that the songs aren't good anymore? so untrue. "Pretty Fly" was one of the biggest hits in 1998, and maybe even the biggest hit in 1998. Everybody knew about this song and it played non stop on MTV, the radio etc. I thought that Americana was that kind of album with only one hit on it but i was wrong, cause then 3 other singles were out: "Why Don't You Get A Job", "The Kids Aren't Alright" and "Have You Ever". They were great so I decided to check out the cd. it's a great pop-punk cd, and much better than "Conspiracy Of One". How can anyone say that "Conspiracy Of One" - the letdown, is better than "Americana"? I think that "Americana" is the most underrated Offspring cd. I will have to agree Offspring sold out with this album. but who cares? the music is still great.
