One of the best Offspring albums

The Offspring are definitely one of the best bands of the nineties and they made sure to make a strong break into the year 2000 with "Conspiracy of One." As good as that album is, it just can't compare with this or "Smash", which are both surely destined to become punk classics. From the faster more aggressive songs such as "Meaning of Life" and "All I Want" to the toned down "Amazed" to the hilarious "Don't Pick It Up" Ixnay on the Hombrey dishes out a variety of flavors here that all seem to blend together into one irresistable composition. Dexter's vocal explosions in the chorus of "Gone Away" are truly amazing and easily elevate it to the best song on the album, albeit not the most aggressive. This is essential to all Offspring fans and even if you're not a fan, at least get this and "Smash". Both are highly recommended.
