The only two songs that were worth the $2 I paid for the album (clearance cut-out bin no less) were Toughen Up and Soul Kiss. It was because I had heard the ultra smooth, sexy, seductive and silky Soul Kiss track on the radio and seen the video that I purchased the l.p. thinking the rest of the album was going to pretty much keep the same pop, r & b musically flavored continuity; Was I greatly dissapointed ! After the two opening and exciting tracks the album takes an entire plunge into Olivia's older and sweeter sounding innocent material from the late 70's and early 80's. Had the project maintained that suave and sophisticated smoldering essence heard in Toughen Up and Soul Kiss, the album might have sky rocketed on the charts. Even her new (at that time back in '85) "re-invented" sexy siren image photo cover misled the listener into thinking that this was going to be the "chart buster" comeback album; Not since her Physical or Xanadu phase was she last commercially successful.

P.S.-For fans of t.v. trivial nostalgia-the back up singer on the track Soul Kiss was the obnoxious red-headed mom and wife of the now-defunct t.v. comedy series Married With Children actress Katie Sagal ! Never knew she could sing, did ya ?...
