The album that helped Olivia 'Soul Kiss' her career goodbye

Olivia and producer John Farrar tried too hard to recapture the successful sound of "Physical." To be honest, they do a pretty good job. Most of the songs are above average with the highlights being "Toughen Up," "Emotional Tangle" and the under-rated "Driving Music." But the album went too far in trying to create sexually suggestive lyrics (as in "Let's Get...") that only managed to bring a smirk ("You Were Great, How Was I) rather than prove to be a real "Culture Shock." Not helping matters was the awful title track and first single that put an end to Livvy's hit-making career. Which is too bad, because it is a good album.
