Yes, all of these reviewers are correct in stating that the drum and bass tracks on this album as well as on Diary of a Madman have been re-recorded by Robert Trujillo and Mike Bordin. What they fail to realize is that this album is still a classic even with the re-recorded drum and bass tracks. Ozzy and Randy Rhoads are the stars of this album and are what make it special, not who is backing them on drum and bass! The sound quality on the new remasters is incredible and you will notice they have much more volume when compared to older releases. I am willing to bet that more than half of these reviewers did not even listen to these new remasters before reviewing them, but simply dismissed them as "trash" as soon as they heard about the drum and bass being replaced. In my opinion the only differences you will really notice in the album are that Ozzy's vocals have a bit more of an echo effect (as if he were singing in a stadium) on Crazy Train and the laugh at the end of the song is different. These changes do not negatively affect the album and as far as the drum and bass, I cannot tell the difference, nor would anyone who has not heard the original (I have heard all previous versions of this album, including vinyl). Listen to this album with an open mind and enjoy it. Afterall, Ozzy is the godfather of metal and without him, who the hell would know who Lee Kerslake and Bob Daisley are anyway?...
