Ozzy Osbourne

Blizzard of Ozz

Goodbye, Black Sabbath

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (10/10)
Ozzy's first album, Blizzard of Ozz, reminds very much Black Sabbath's Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. The tracks are very much hard rock. With Randy Rhoads Ozzy made his most legendary tracks. "I Don't Know" and "Crazy Train" are still very populoar live tracks, no wonder: they have good lyrics and they're fast ones. "Goodbye to Romance" is a very peaceful song and it's meant to Black Sabbath as a farewell song. "Dee" is an short instrumental track. "Suicide Solution" is a very dark both lyrically and musically. So is "Mr. Crowley", both tell about wickedness in this world. "No bone Movies", "Steal AWay the Night" and the bonus track are fast track. "Revelation Mother Earth" is a peaceful and touching track about the wickedness in the world: we have destroyed our planet. It is a 6-minute-long track but not boring at all although the last three minutes are instrumental. Ozzy rocks!
