What a hatchett job.

I just can't believe what has been done to this album. granted I have been listening to this album since 1980 and I am also a drummer so I'm more likely to pick these things out than the casual listener, but I think even a deaf person could hear that the drums and bass have been replaced. the result is an album that is simply tough to listen to. In any studio situation the drums are recorded first and then everything else is laid over them. when you go back and try to make a drummer play in perfect time with pre-recorded tracks he simply is not going to be able to stay in perfect synch with the rest of the tracks and that's why "crazy Train" sounds so sluggish. You can actually hear him adjust his tempo throughout the song to try to stay in time with the guitar and vocals. They even went so far as to replace the vibraslap, (That kind of buzzing sound), at the beginning of "Crazy train". I guess Kirslake must have done that too on the original. In short, if you buy this remaster you are subsidizing Sharon Osbourne's unethical buisness practices to cheat Daisley and Kirslake out of money they deserve. If you don't care about that then don't buy it because it is a hatchett job and it sounds like it.
