I agree with Terrence J Reardon that the original Diary of a Madman album does deserve FIVE PLUS STARS. However, let me address The Heretic and Henry McPruter. They are Cranky Reviewer aliases whom should be kicked off for countering Terrence's reviews the hypocrites. Back to this "so-called" remaster, myself and many fans of the original album(meaning the 1981 issue and the 1995 remaster) were in for a horrific shock after reading that original drummer Lee Kerslake and bass player Bob Daisley(which was their royalties for co-writing and playing on the album) were removed from this classic album as Ozzy's insepid, greedy, egomaniacal, poor excuse of a manager/wife Sharon decides to REPLACE the original rhythm section's backing tracks with Metallica's newest bass player Robert Trujillo and ex-Faith No More drummer Mike Bordin. Songs like Over the Mountain, You Can't Kill Rock and Roll and what not are all now destroyed because of greed and ego! It's reminiscent to Roger Waters performing The Wall without his ex-Pink Floyd mates. This fake remaster is so bad and pathetic after I heard ot that I and many others did not ever bother buying it. Avoid this greedfest from the witch Sharon and buy either the original 1980s Jet/CBS CD or the 1995 Epic remaster, this new version of Diary is ridiculous!
