Probably the definitive metal album......except for.....
Review Score:

(6/10)
I heard DOAM for the first time about 18 years ago. The music was obviously phenomenal and has held up well over time. I'd put the musicianship in that band up against any other 80's metal band. And without a doubt, it blow away anything anyone in the 90's was producing.(Aside from a select few virtuoso's)
My favorite song by Ozzy is and always will be Diary of a Madman.
It's the reason I play guitar today and my inspiration to become a better musician. But if you've heard the album, you already know what I'm talking about.
On to the sound quality of the remaster.....
It's horrible. It is such a blatant attempt to change the once so successful formula, just so that the Osbournes can pocket more money, that it makes me sick. Randy would never approve.
But then again, put yourself in Ozzy's shoes....
He has a couple moron children that will depend on his money for a lifetime, so he better make as much as he can now. I don't see Ozzy making it another 5 years even. Jack? Please... what future do you see for that kid if Ozzy doesn't make sure he'll always have money. In summation:
The songs on this album rock
The remastered music on this album sounds subpar and unnatural
Randy is rolling over in his grave right now having his music messed with.
Ozzy has to rake in as much $$$$$ as possible to save his idiot children from themselves.
I'll give it 3 starts, because at one time... Ozzy did rule.
