A) The original artwork has NOT been restored.
B) Advertising a remastered re-issue is one thing. But issuing it and not telling the public that original band members Bob Daisley (bass) and Lee Kerslake (drums) have had their classic parts erased and re-recorded by other musicians is just beyond an outrage. It's beyond comprehension. Kerslake and Daisley not only co-wrote the music, their incredible playing was a huge reason for the enduring success of the music on the LP.
What's next? Someone will re-release Sgt. Pepper with all the parts erased and re-recorded except Paul's?
This recording IS NOT the "Diary of A Madman" that fans have grown to love for the past 20 years. Go find an old vinyl copy if you want the real thing. The public is being blatantly exploited with this sham. Real fans (young and old) deserve better than imitations - not to mention the artists on the original work. This disgraceful release should be discontinued immediately.
