Ozzy Osbourne

Ozzy on autopilot

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (2/10)
I listened to an Ozzy interview right after this album was released. Ozzy was so loaded he was almost impossible to understand. He said he'd been taking pain killers because he fell off the stage in Miami and broke his leg-so now you need an excuse to be lit Ozzy? Well he didn't like the questions about the obvious and sickening tribute to child molestation called Mr. Tinkertrain. Ozzy said he was through explaining his lyrics to the press because they misinterpreted everything. Well Ozzy, how the hell do you misinterpret the leering, disgusting kiddy porn that opens this record? He probably thought he was making a social statement: child molesting is bad. The rest of the CD just plays like boring, cliched, heavy metal lite. Ozzy and his band display small talent and no soul whatsoever. The only halfway decent cut is Mamma, I'm Comin' Home. This CD makes a great case for the argument that Ozzy has been washed up for years.
