Wylde's overbearing, but oddly not that hard-hitting, style is put to excellent use, as opposed to being wasted and out of place (Live & Loud, anyone?), and with few guitar solos.
-Perry Mason is the song that will really take you by suprise. Intense, jarring, and just begging you to turn that volume knob one...more...little...step.
-I Just Want You is pretty good, and even I must admit, the best choice for a single. Not outstanding, but solid.
-Ghost Behind My Eyes is a bit slow, and breaks the flow a bit, but excellent song.
-Thunder Underground. Now we're talking! Hard-hitting and it mauls you over, assuming you gave into Perry Mason and raised the volume way on up there :).
-See You On The Other Side. The other single. Also quite good on it's own, though.
-Tomorrow, tomorrow...this gives me goosebumps, still. Just listen, and listen well.
-Denial is a little more of what you'd expect. Not the best.
-My Little Man amazingly fits in well, despite being quite different than the rest of the album. One of the few songs that will give me goosebumps over and over (and this album has two fo them!). Very soft.
-My Jekyll Doesn't Hide is...odd. Yes, even on this album, it's strange. Good song, but one of those that is much better when played as part of the album rather than on its own.
-Old LA Tonight just closes it out, really. Not bad or anything, but it has little that stands out.
Not as good as No More tears even I'll admit, but definitely copetition for the old Blizzard.
