Well worth the wait

We waited 4 years after TGSTK came out. I've only been listening to Pantera for 6 years now (as a result of looking at someone's t-shirt and taking a chance). After hearing all of the Pantera albums I was drooling for a chance to hear the new Pantera album. I have to say, I was not disappointed, it wasn't as good as Far Beyond Driven but jesus was this album brutal. Dimebag is bleeding his fingers on those licks, Vinnie Paul has to be giving himself shin splints with trashing base beats at that speed. I can imagine how many times Phil had to swallow ice for that kind of screaming throughout the album. My only complaint is that alot of the songs had too much similarity to them, but that is only a small ding in the otherwise pristine Corvette beauty that this record beholds. Listen and band your head and don't forget the asprin.
