Reinventing The Steel

Their Intensity Never Wanes!!

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (8/10)
No, sports fans, this is not the Pantera CD where they add some keyboards and maybe a slow ballad to win some new fans. They've taken heaviness about as far as humanly possible on "Far Beyond Driven," but they're still offering some new variations on driving a sledgehammer through your skull!! This album has some stellar tracks that let the world know that these guys would never "sell out." "Goddamn Electric" "Revolution is my Name" and "Yesterday Don't Mean Feces" will get your head banging on the nearest hard surface. You have to wonder just how long these guys can keep up this intensity, since they certainly have milked "heavy" for about all it's worth. Time will tell. Until then, pick this baby up if you want a good thrashing (or like to make little babies cry).
