Pantera

Reinventing The Steel

Better than Trendkill

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (6/10)
But still not that good. I love Pantera's first 2 albums(CFH and VDOP, not that 80's stuff), those albums are great, and I recommend you get those now if you don't have them. Far Beyond Driven is also better than this. Supposedly, this album was to mark a return to their VDOP days, but it doesn't really. I actually have not found myself coming back to it much. Pantera is a talented band, but they haven't shown us that in awhile. "Goddamn Electric" and "Revolution is my Name" are almost on the level of their older albums, great songs, but still, the rest of the album is pretty average. If you are a fan of all of Pantera's albums, you'll probably want to pick this up. However, if you're like me and you thought Pantera started to lose it a bit with Far Beyond Driven and Trendkill, I would recommend staying away from this and go listen to Cowboys From Hell instead or something.
