Here's a REAL METAL ALBUM

If any band truly fits the definition of..."heavy metal" it has to be Pantera. Double bass volleys, thunderous bass, dynamic call to war vocals and one of the best guitar players you'll ever hear. This album contains, in my opinion, the ultimate metal riff of all time, Walk. Dimebag's guitar sounds like it's on fire throughout the entire song especially during the blazing solo. Some of the songs fall into the familiar lock-step groove while others are just plain fast (F'ing Hostile). Phil Anselmo is a great metal front man showing off his excellent range on the album. Hoarse yells and some genuine singing on some of the songs give you a break from the intensity but never for long though, they always turn back to blast-your-head rock. This is how metal is done and I don't know if it will ever be done better after this album.
