Vulgar Display picks up where Cowboy's from hell left off. With Dimebag Darrel absolutly obliterating everything in his path with razor sharp riffs, while Phil Anselmo follows suit with explosive outbursts that will make you want to immediatly start destroying the room your in. Alright so its not that extreme. In fact the song tempos are actually slowed down in the epics "This Love" and "Hollow." However none the less The Riffing is still very tight just more groove oriented. Anselmo massvily improves his vocals on VDOP completly straying away from the sound of his early howlings on Comboys from Hell. It became Pantera's most famous album and not without reason. It remains one of the greatest testaments to metal ever recorded.
