I just want to say that I was fortunate enough to be young and angry when VDOP came out. This one was always in my Walkman at school. A classic album (along with many Pantera made) that over a decade later still feels raw and bleeding. When you compare it to much of what people call "heavy" now (the Used, anyone?), it makes you laugh.
It was creepy - someone had just given me a copy of Offical Live: 101 Proof and it made me realize how much I still dug Pantera's music. Two days later, Dimebag was dead. A sad end to a great guy. Oh, and to reply to my friend below - this has nothing to do with being trendy. Screw you.
