BENTAR'S BEST SHOT
Review Score:

(10/10)
Pat and band are back in their best studio cd yet. Gone is the big keyboards of the 80's, but ist's not the rocker of the 70's early 80's either. This cd has a more down to earth fill that was missibg on any of their cds, including her 90's releases. There is an good acoustic feel to this cd, just put it on and hear for yourself. The cd starts of rockin, but not with heavy guitars of their former work. This sound and feel, that starts out, is thru out the cd. The cd starts out with 4 of her best songs in over a decade. "Only You","River of Love","I Don't Want To Be Your Friend", and "Strawberry Wine", set the pace for the entire cd. These songs are so strong and good, that rest of the cd almost has trouble matching it. But it's up to it, and rest of the cd, even at it weakest, is still stronger than most of good work in the 90's. What a great return.
