Patty Loveless - QUEEN OF SAD SONGS

Patty Loveless does an excellent job performing sad songs! The only female country artist or any country artist that I know of that does an entire album with sad songs; hence the name "Long Stretch Of Lonesome"...

Very gutsy artist as she reaches into that part of the human soul where no one likes to go, the the feelings of being lonely or being sad...

I think why this album is so good is that the songs are real and her beautiful voice adds more emotion to the song. I mean other country artist sing songs about love, being happy, going out with friend, etc. But Patty's Long Stretch Of Lonesome cd is by far the only album that deals with the other side of life... Besides being happy; there's also sadness in life and that's what the album is about.

It is a very moving album that's real and that's why I love this album!!
