When it comes to class, elegance and style in country music, Ms. Loveless is in a class all to herself. Absolutely no female country singer can sing a heart-breaking song like her ! The honesty in her voice is so real, so powerful, one fully believes every word she sings. The best song on this album is Thirsty, a beautiful, haunting song with backing vocals from Travis Tritt. I can't imagine anyone else singing this song so purely and raw. Two tracks, You Don't Get No More and In the Key of Love, truly rocks. Once again, no country singers have the gift that Patty does for flat-out rocking. To ring out an emotional song with dazzling, honest and sincere feelings, then to rock out with enough gusto to rip the bark off a tree, this lady does it all and quite successfully. Every song on this CD is great, aside from the opening track, You're So Cool, which is a tad too silly for someone of her talent, but yet, the fun she has singing it is obvious. Overall, a great CD, and well worth owning.
