Another solid performance from the master..

One word. FUN!! I've loved all the Unplugged albums I've heard (especially Pauls and Eric Claptons) cause they're so informal and raw. The highlights of this album (for me) are "Here there and Everywhere", "Singing the Blues", "Blackbird" and all three of the songs off "McCARTNEY" which were probably underrated until this point. All the songs are great though, and Pauls humour hasn't faded over the years. The only slightly disapointing song on the album was "And I love her" which seems too slow and over-long here and lacks the FEEL of the Beatles original. Oh well - it's a small complaint. The idea of Macca doing a gig so small and personnal probably appealed to him after shouting in football stadiums the year before!! This album is relaxing, fun, refreshing and the ghost of the beatles legacy is reassuringly present.
