Rare is the "live" album that captures the experience and energy of the actual concert. Having seen Gabriel's Secret World Tour in person, this CD is almost as good as being there. (In some ways it is better: you don't have some mope in front of you that you can't see around, or some person behind you yelling "this is so cool" during every song.) Gabriel's music normally entrances the soul; on this album, his music enters your soul so it becomes a part of the music and the experience. If you are a Peter Gabriel fan, you must own this album. If you are one who simply "likes" Gabriel, you will enjoy this album. Many "casual" Gabriel fans have commented on how this album is far better than they expected, and how they can listen to it again and again and again. The only better way to capture this concert experience is through the Secret World Live film.
