A profound, complex, complete, masterful Work of Art!

This is a truly PROFOUND work, lyrically as well as musically. I heard it first in 1992 and it spoke to the deep places in my heart. In 1998 it is still a towering classic: timeless. The included artwork links to the lyrics and the lyrics to the haunting music. The feel and the texture of the music touch the deep places in the soul where words alone cannot reach. This is the story of the hunger for human relationships and the profound search for LOVE: moving from the pain and confusion of "Come Talk to Me" through the stuggle to discern the Truth about ourselves in "Digging in the Dirt"; and then, miraculously, to USE the truth we have struggled to discern to move us from the Pain to the Change in "Fourteen Black Paintings"; from which our journey of self-discovery leads to the re-birth of courage to again take a chance on LOVE in "Kiss That Frog". Thank you, Peter, for speaking to my own personal, intimate journey in your music, in your words, and in your choice of artwork. I listened first from the black hole, alone; I listen to it now, with my Precious Princess in my arms. God Bless You, Peter Gabriel.
