Excellent and Heartbreaking

This is undoubtedly Gabriel's magnum opus, and one of the best recordings of 1992. A veritable potpourri of world music and rock, it never ceases to amaze, both in terms of production and performance. Gabriel has written some of his most personal and intense lyrics here, and anyone who isn't remotely moved by his words here must have a heart of stone. An excellent all-rounder album, and arguably the most significant in Gabriel's career.
