Phil Collins

But Seriously

Another hummable album from Phil Collins!

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (10/10)
I still like this Phil Collins album too. He makes such hummable songs! I can't tell you how many times I've hummed to "Another Day In Paradise" when it came on in 1989. I still do today. He's so good at these rhythms and melodies. The other songs like "Do You Remember" also help define '80s music so very well. I like the horn section on "Something Happened.." Deborah Cox did a dance remake of it a few years ago, so this song has a second life all over again. Phil's social themes throughout the album are well stated without being too preachy or pushy. This is a very deep album. I still like his '85 album the most, but this album comes a close second!
